Last week, Grant had to have a little procedure done at the hospital. He had a growth inside his mouth, since he was born, and the Oral Surgeon wanted to take it off at the hospital, so they could knock him out. I was a little nervous about the whole procedure just because he is so little, but he did great. We had to get there at 5:30 a.m., and they did all of his pre surgery things while he slept in his car seat. I didn't have to take him out until they came to get him at 7:00. We put on his little gown, and off he went. He was back by 7:30, I could hear him screaming as they brought him down the hall. He ate a bottle, and by 8:05, we were in the car, and on our way home. It went really fast, and he took great naps that day!

Claire's Preschool Easter Party
Claire had a fun time at her preschool Easter Party. We made candy necklaces, played a few games, and found eggs hidden outside. To bad it was so cold! The kids had fun anyways, and were so excited. They weren't to thrilled about eating bunny snacks (carrots), but loved the cupcakes.

Easter Eggs
You remember as you got older how long it took you to color an Easter Egg, well, cut that time in about a fourth, and you will get the amount of time it took my kids to color 18 eggs. It was actually quite funny. Owen would put it in the dye for no more than 10 seconds, no matter what we said. Claire left hers a little longer, but was doing multiple colors at once. They had so much fun, and were so proud of their eggs.

Last week we finally had a few nice days in a row, so we took the opportunity to go to the park. The kids were thrilled to get out of the house, and go someplace where they could run around. They got to swing, climb, and just have fun. The next day we even went on a picnic. I love warm weather! Grant loves to be outside, but hates the wind! He can handle it for a little while, but just doesn't do well. That is a problem since we live in a very windy place. I guess he will learn to live with it like the rest of us.
Owen's very favorite toy at this park is the sand digger, I have actually looked them up to see how much they are, but if we owned one, he wouldn't play with it nearly as much. He was thrilled to see that some other kids were finished so he could have a turn.

Monster Trucks
The first weekend in April signifies Conference, but here in Pocatello it also signifies Monster Trucks! This year, Chad and Owen went to Monster Trucks with our friend Dave, and brother-in-law Aaron. I got to go, but was in the ticket office the whole time (I cannot believe how much money people will lay down for them and all their buddies to go to Monster Trucks! - My all time favorite of the weekend was, what about the cheap seats? Uh those sold out about a month ago!). Anyways, the boys had a blast. I snuck up after work to take a few pictures of them. I was going to take Owen home with me, but he insisted on stayed, and stayed awake the whole time - until 11:15! Then when he got home, he was still excited. I'm so glad that they had a good time, and I'm sure there will be pictures of this next year!

Spring Soccer
I decided to sign Claire up for Spring Soccer. It is not overly competitive, and the kids basically huddle around the ball while the coach is out there. I put her in with the preschool kids, but I think she would have liked playing with a little bit older division. I guess I know that for next time. The weather has been terrible, so they haven't had any practices, but I got her out on the field this day for a whole 2 minutes before she fell, and then she wouldn't go back out. It was really cold. Hopefully she'll do better next time.

Amber's Spring Break and Bowling
We got to have the privilege of having Amber come and stay in Pocatello for her Spring Break. She stayed with Heather, but we got to see a lot of her. It was a lot of fun. It was especially nice to have someone willing to help me out a few times during the week with the kids. Thanks for your help Amber.
On her almost last day here, we all headed to ISU to go bowling. We had a lot of fun, and I think the kids still beat me, and I played in their lane with the bumpers. So sad! Everyone waiting for their turn.
Claire got ahold of the camera, so you all get to see a rare picture of me.
It was so much fun having Amber around for the week. This was a picture of her taken by Claire.
The kids discovered the juke box, which was very loud, and spent their free time over by it dancing away.
