I suppose it is time for an update. We have been trying to calm down since the holidays, and catch up on our normal life. It is hard to get back into the swing of things. Of course, Claire, Owen and I came down with the stomach flu on our first normal week, so we didn't get back to normal for awhile. We have now had 3 weeks of preschool, and I am ready for another weekend!!!
Claire is Miss Independent, and is constantly changing her clothes! No kidding I end up doing twice as much laundry because she has worn her previous clothes just long enough that they are dirty, but not long enough!! It is fun to watch her grow up.
Owen is as busy as ever. At Christmas time my sister gave me the Hairspray soundtrack, so we have been listening to it constantly, and Owen loves to sing the "Welcome to the 60's" song. You are greeted with a ohohohoh often around our house.
I got a new calling. At first I thought they were taking me out of Young Women's and I was so bummed, but I got made the first counselor (thanks Daniel for moving). I still get to work with the same girls, so I am excited!! We just took the youth to the Rexburg Temple Open House (I forgot my camera - I am an airhead lately!), and it was a great time. I'm not sure seeing the YM at Chuck-A-Rama eat was the highlight, but we had fun.
The other big news (and the cause of my airheadedness (I know that isn't a word)). We are expecting number 3 in September. We don't usually tell people this early, but I am not kidding - I am already starting to show. I can still fit into my clothes, but barely - what is going on!!! I already told Chad that I get a new maternity wardrobe since I have never been through a summer pregnant (can't wait!!). And, I'm not complaining to loudly, but I don't usually get sick, and of course this time with everything I have going on I am sick, and literally need a two hour nap each day to cope. I'm not a great evening mom anymore! This too will pass, and Chad will be very happy!

SOOOO BIG!
My baby is growing up! Today was Claire's first day of Sunbeams. I can hardly believe how quickly time has gone by. She is learning more every day, and surprises me each day. I just love this kid so much! She wasn't feeling very well last night, so I didn't think that she would make it to her new class, but she was determined to go to church. By the time I picked her up, she wasn't feeling well again, but she said she had fun. Here are the top 5 things I love about Claire! (I wish I had taken a picture of her in her church dress, but I wasn't that organized this morning!)
1. She loves to cuddle (as long as she has her thumb and a lap, she is happy!)
2. She tries to be nice to her brother (it doesn't always work out so well, but she is getting better!).
3. She loves to help me cook.
4. She loves skirts and pink - what a girl!
5. She makes me feel like a great mom, especially when I'm have a bad day!

Happy 16th Birthday Amber!
Believe it or not, but my little sister is 16. Yes, it is crazy! We celebrated the day by going to Zim's Hot Springs near my parents house, and then having cake and ice cream at home. Swimming was fun, but very cold. Claire didn't like it because it wasn't the kind of swimming she wanted. It was a funny conversation discussing that with her. "Mom, where are all the toys?" "They don't have them here." "I want to get out, I don't like it!" That was about the end. She had her mind made up. 3 year olds can sure be stubborn! It was a great day, and we were glad to be there to celebrate with Amber.

Guitar Hero!
My brother-in-law Aaron, got guitar hero for Christmas, along with 2 guitars. It was so much fun. We got everyone involved. My dad said he didn't like it (although he didn't give it much of a chance). My Grandma was so funny because she just couldn't hear the beat (she said she would get one when she got home so she could practice). My mom was really good at it. She could rock! It was a fun night - I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
Mom and Grandpa Bock - can we say funny!

I cannot tell you how excited I was for Christmas morning. It wasn't I can't sleep (because I can always do that!), but there was a lot of anticipation! Claire finally understands who Santa is, so we left out the cookies and milk, and sent them to bed. It was so great to see their excitement on Christmas morning, and to share their joy. We could hardly keep Owen downstairs while we waited for great grandpa to go upstairs. We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending it with our families.
Can we say another truck! Every gift that Owen got this year had wheels (except for a few clothes). I guess it isn't hard to see that he is all boy!

Claire and her new house - an instant favorite!
What else do you need to go with a new kitchen - dishes!

Welcome Orrin!
I have to say that the best part of my whole Christmas had to be the birth of my new nephew Orrin Porter. My sister-in-law Cody, gave birth to him at 11:27 p.m. on December 25th in her home. I got to be the midwives assistant (her mom's). I don't know if I could do it at home, but it works well for her. Now, I have given birth, but it is amazing thing to watch, especially when you are not the one in pain. It is a completely different experience than being the one pushing the baby out. I would recommend that all you ladies get this chance just once (Chad said I wouldn't think it was cool, but gross. What does he think of me when I have our children??) Here are few pictures of my adorable new nephew (number 5 for Roy and Cody!)
Right after he was born. (I even got to put his cap on!)
The first aunt to hold him.
Heather - the second aunt to hold him. :-)

Christmas Eve, Eve
Well, lets just say that the festivities started a little early at the Farmer homestead. My cousins who I haven't seen in years, came to my parents house from New York, and California for Christmas. They had to leave on Christmas Eve so they could spend it with their mom in California, so we had a party a little early. It was so much fun to see everyone, and we had a blast. It decided to snow, so we got to have a little bit of fun in the snow. Chad and Roy even broke out the snowmobiles, and we went out for rides. It was so much fun. I wish it would snow more when we are there. Here are a few pictures of our snow adventures and our Christmas Eve, Eve party.
